Tsavo, Amboseli & Rift Valley Lakes
We begin our classic safari with game drives in Tsavo West National Park. Combined with Tsavo East, the park is roughly the size of Belgium. Here we also have the opportunity to watch hippos idling in the spring water from an underground observatory. Crossing the Shetani lava flow we arrive in Amboseli famous for its huge herds of elephants and spectacular views of Kilimanjaro. At the Rift Valley's Lake Nakuru, we observe its thousands of flamingos and large numbers white rhino before continuing to Lake Naivasha and a boat ride to Crescent Island.

The Maasai Mara
After game drives in Hell's Gate National park we end our safari in the Maasai Mara, Kenya's best-known reserve, famous for its 'Big Cats' and abundant game and bird life. You may even like to make a balloon trip over the plains at dawn for an unforgettable end to the trip.

Safari in-style
Luxury lodges are used during our stays in Tsavo West and the Rift Valley lakes. In the other parks we camp in-style using large, comfortable ridge tents complete with safari beds, a verrandah and chairs. Catered for by our crew with 3-course meals, we can fully relax and absorb the sights and sounds of the plains and truly appreciate the beauty of a magical African sunset. We travel by minibus with roof hatches for maximise game-viewing.

In Tsavo West NP; game drives to Mzima springs and underground observatory.

Day 4

Drive Amboseli NP; afternoon game drive.

Day 5 & 6

Drive Lake Nakuru NP; afternoon game drive.

Day 8

In Lake Nakuru NP; game drives.

Day 9

Continue to Lake Naivasha; afternoon boat ride to Crescent Island.
