Introduction
The Outer Hebrides at the edge of Northwest Europe offers beautiful rugged landscapes including great views of the Torridon and Inverpoly mountains and the surrounding countryside. There is the possibility of seeing marine life swimming through the channels and to spend time in the lively town of Stornoway which is our base for the trip, where Lewis Castle overlooks the harbour that is still lined with fishing boats. The islands are home to Iron Age fortifications, pristine white beaches and breathtaking panoramic views, a great place to unwind in peaceful and unspoilt surroundings.
