This is a genuine wilderness safari through some of the finest areas of southern Africa and the full service camping offers a wonderful mix of being able to sleep close to nature in comfort. Famed for its beautiful sunset cruises, Chobe National Park has a large concentration of both elephant and lion. Moremi has a dense variety of wildlife and there is every opportunity of viewing buffalo, lion, leopard and even the endangered wild dog. The Okavango River is the third largest in Africa. Unlike most rivers, the Okavango does not end at the sea: it has created the largest inland delta in the world in the heart of Botswana. The best way to appreciate the beauty of this unique habitat is to travel by mokoro (dugout canoe) and spot the countless species of game and birds that reside here.

Tour itinerary

Day 1:

Start Maun and transfer to our campsite for the night.

Day 2:

To Okavango Delta; board our mokoros to travel deeper into the Delta.

Day 3:

Morning game walk; sunset mokoro ride.

Day 4:

To Nxai Pan N.P.; afternoon game drive.

Day 5:

Morning game drive; afternoon visit the Magadigadi Salt pan.

Day 6:

Cross the Zambezi River to Livingston.

Day 7:

Free day in Livingston for optional activities such as white water rafting, elephant back safari or a helicopter flight over the falls.

Day 8:

Free morning to visit Victoria Falls; afternoon we drive to the Chobe River.

Day 9:

Into Chobe N.P. and visit the Savuti area.

Day 10:

Full day of game drives on the Savuti marsh.

Day 11:

Game drive all the way to Moremi game reserve.

Day 12:

Full day of game drives.

Day 13:

Morning game drive; to Maun.

Day 14:

End Maun.
