A wildlife enthusiasts dream, the Serengeti is Tanzania's primary National Park, with wide open grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see. In contrast, the walls of the Ngorongoro Crater provide a home for both animals and humans alike - this has been the case for millennia and we can discover its early history at one of the most important prehistoric sites, Olduvai Gorge. This journey from Tarangire National Park to the Serengeti will take us through varied habitats, and what better way to immerse ourselves in this environment than to camp. These exclusive, small group departures maximise time in the parks so that you can really appreciate some of East Africa's most dramatic scenery and wildlife. Tour itinerary

Day 1:

Start Arusha.

Day 2:

To Tarangire N.P. for full day game drive; spend the night in the park.

Day 3:

Early morning game drive in Tarangire N.P., returning to camp for lunch, followed by another game drive in the afternoon.

Day 4:

Drive to Lake Manyara N.P. for full day game drive. Camp tonight at Migunga campsite.

Day 5:

Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Afternoon game drive in crater. Night in a private campsite near the crater.

Day 6:

Morning visit to Olduvai Gorge; head into Serengeti N.P. for afternoon game drive.

Day 7:

Early morning game drive in Serengeti, returning to camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive.

Day 8:

Morning game drive on way to Seronera Airstrip; fly to Arusha; end Arusha.
